The Institution of Green Engineers (IGEN) proudly invites educational institutions, students, faculty members, and sustainability enthusiasts to join IGEN ENERGY YATHRA 2026, a month-long national campaign dedicated to promoting energy conservation, sustainable living, and climate action through the #ENSAV9MANTRAS initiative.

From 1 December to 30 December 2026, the ALBATRO – IGEN Energy Saver Mascot will symbolically travel across participating campuses, inspiring students and communities to adopt simple energy-saving habits, organize campus energy awareness activities, and encourage every household to save one unit of electricity every day. The campaign aligns with National Energy Conservation Day (14 December) and supports UN Sustainable Development Goals 7, 12, and 13.

Participants can organize energy awareness events, showcase innovative conservation practices, share their activities through social media, and become part of a nationwide movement for Energy Freedom. Outstanding institutions, student ambassadors, and creative initiatives will receive IGEN Energy Yathra Recognition and Awards.
